Trump in Transition (v37)

Ah yes - the man who knows more about everything than everybody strikes again.

The American president knows more than French firefighters and historians and experts on 850-year-old structures it seems, and has offered his unsolicited advice to Parisians who were fighting the fire at Notre Dame:

Was his advice helpful? Um, that's a big fat no. To the point where the experts in France took the time to tweet a response - in English, since the man who knows more about everything than everybody I guess doesn't know how to speak French.

But that's not all!

We learned that last week, the president found himself in hot water with Warner Bros. for his unauthorized use of their copyrighted material.
The use of Warner Bros.' score from 'The Dark Knight Rises' in the campaign video was unauthorized. We are working through the appropriate legal channels to have it removed.
And it was - removed, that is, from Trump's Twitter account, with the standard tag line "this media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner."

This is not the first time -- remember all of his rallies where he used music from the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and others without permission? Remember his theft of the Game of Thrones iconography for his border wall?  I mean. this is a brand guy - he brands everything! How can he not know that doing this is wrong?

When it comes to artists who have their content stolen by Trump and his minions, I think each and every one of them should sue him, not in the court of public opinion, but in a court of law - each and every time he does this.

And speaking of branding, there was this tweet from the president, which says as much about why he became president as anything else he's ever said. Take a look:

"What do I know about branding, maybe nothing (but I did become president!)" -- wow!

There it is folks, as if we needed any more confirmation from the horse's mouth that this was all about the Trump brand and expanding its reach and making money off it, I don't know if we could have paid him to make it more clear.
